Client Profile: The Office of Communications of Georgetown Preparatory School, the oldest Catholic all-boys high school and only Jesuit boarding school in America.
Client Needs: A promotional short to introduce Prep's 2017 "Raise to Give," the final segment of the school's annual Gala. The request for the two-minute film was to illustrate the core Jesuit education principle, Cura Personalis, meaning "care of the full individual" (mind, body, & spirit).
My Analysis: A three-pronged approach emphasizing care of the body, mind, and spirit — a staple of Jesuit education — would be necessary.
My Process: Over the course of one month I was granted access to film and explore the many facets of the school before, during, and after the school day.
My Outcomes: The "Raise to Give" segment of Prep's 2017 Gala was the most successful year in its 11 year history as part of the school's Gala, raising over $140,215 on the night for new school buses.
